Our Deer

Wild and Natural

Located in Schleicher County, Texas, the 2,200 acre Koy Ranch has been a working ranch for over 100 years. Its century-long history has included the presence or production of quarter horses, purebred black angus, and rambouillet sheep. Today the Koy Ranch is still a working ranch and offers authentic hunting opportunities to the discerning hunter.

Amid a rolling backdrop of oak and mesquite, wild deer roam freely. Deer at the Koy Ranch are low-fenced, natural deer and provide a challenging hunt. Hunts at the Koy Ranch include two bucks - a trophy buck and a management buck. Non-hunting guests may accompany paying hunters for an additional fee. Please see our pricing page for rates. In the interest of protecting livestock, $200 bounties are also paid on bobcats, coyotes, and feral hogs.

The hunting experience at the Koy Ranch is traditional and rewarding. Paying hunters enjoy access to a three bedroom, one bathroom cabin complete with a full kitchen and storage freezer.
